Chest extractors, chest collectors etc. don't collect wool

Please let chect extractors, chest collectors etc. things collect wool. I know it would require to add all colours of wool, but it's so worth it!
As someome who really likes bright colours (and can't really get much concrete because of sand shortage) and carpets, wool is crucial for me and not being able to collect it easily when having many sheep or a sheep spawner is not effective at all because in this way I'll either have to spend millions on wool in the shop or wait weeks if not more to collect the wool I will need for planned builds :C
